Best Cherry Blends

I always intended to try a cherry blend, but to this date I have not. In the past I've smoked a few Blackstone cherry cigars, I liked those OK I guess. I've noticed there are some strong opinions about which cherry blends are bad. What are some cherry blends you've tried that you like?

Only cherry blend I have tried is Cult blood red moon. It's ok once in a while when feeling adventurous.

If you want sweet, marachino-like cherry flavor, there are lots to choose from. Tins, pouches, and bulks from C&D, Lane, Sutliff, etc.

For a more tart, black cherry fruit flavor, I have enjoyed the occasional bowl of GH&Co Kendall Black Cherry and HU Jerry Saronno if you wanna throw some unobtainium in there.

But I'd recommend trying an otc flamethrower like Paladin or Borkum Riff first so you can truly appreciate the difference ?.
I didn't hate Brigadier Black Antietam, but there wasn't a very distinct cherry flavor.

The mildness may be why I smoked too fast and hot and ended up with a scorched tongue... I'm envious of your technique! Have you ever smoked a blend that your super slow smoking approach didn't tame?

Not yet. Decades ago when I first tried Borkum Riff it was hot, but now when smoked slowly it's soft as a kitten.

best one I have tried to date is G&H Cherry Vanilla.
G&H Cherry Cream flake is really good too but more tobacco forward than the Cherry Vanilla.

I like Rattray's Blossom Temptation, it's sort of a lighter touch on the cherry. HU Jerry Saronno has a stronger cherry flavour and is also one I enjoy sometimes.

Lane Dark Red is my favorite cherry aromatic. I have pounds of it stored away to prepare for the future "flavored" tobacco ban [whenever it hits]. Deep rich flavor, doesn't bite, crowd pleasing room note and doesn't taste like a Luden's cherry cough drop. Only negative is not much nicotine.

Give Boswell's Cherry Smash a try. I'm not well versed in cherry blends and haven't tried many but I really enjoy Cherry smash.
