That link has video's and static screen cap instructions on posting pictures using various methods.
We do have a repair shop here in the US that specilizes in amber stems, I can't recall the name.

When Jesse comes onto the forum he will give you the low down on your (rather nice) ancient Barling.
I could be wrong but I think Barlings were silversmiths before they got into pipemaking so as early as your pipe is, it could possibly me made by another company who then sent it to Barlings for the silver embellishments.
Regards,
Jay.

I art here! Relax, it's a genuine Barling. That's very cool! The type of wind screen used on this pipe was called the Melbourne, and was Barling's most expensive of their wind screens.
The sterling fitments show EB over WB, which is the makers mark for Barling. The year hallmark is correct for 1882.
The lack of a "Barling's Make" stamp on the pipe is pretty much the norm for this period. It means that the Bowl was turned in St Claude and then shipped to Barling for finishing.
At the time that this pipe was made, the common practice among British pipe manufacturers was to buy the rough turned stummels from France and finish them in Britain, fitting them with sterling mounts and stems. It wasn't until 1906, when Barling decided to make all of their product in house, that the system began to change.
The break in the amber can be mended. I'm not sure who in England would do the work. There are a couple of really excellent cosmetic restorers there, but I don't know about structural restorers. For that, I'd contact George Dibos, who is Georged on the forums. He recently did some work for me on an 1872 Barling magnum that's now good for another 145 years of service.

I'm not the guy to work on your particular pipe, but I know who is.
His contact info is your PM box. (He prefers to keep a low profile to avoid getting buried with work requests)

It's difficult for me to understand you without any sort of punctuation, but I gather that you intend to sell it. Okay, then here's the question for you. Do you want to sell it for the highest amount or the lowest amount? If highest amount, then have the pipe EXPERTLY repaired and cleaned up for the ball. Otherwise, sell it "as is".
