Sounds like a recipe for disaster with P&C. Place order, nothing shipped, make calls with 40 minute wait time then wait 2 weeks or more before they straighten it out and refund your money.
I bought 4 five pound bags of Balkan Supreme back in the Spring. Sobranie is okay, just not the greatest thing on Earth.
Sobranie does not do it for me....
I had no issues with Esoterica drop 2 week's ago...Did get the goods....And they still have had Margate and Pembroke which I ordered yesterday. Hit or Miss with P&C.

You're better off with White Knight, which is closer to the old stuff than Germain's product, and half the price, or with Balkan Supreme. But if you want to spend $20 for some tin art, knock yourself out.

What's really shocking is the pricing. Those in the above photo were $60/5 tin sleeve.
The P&C tins are 1.75 oz. I'm still not biting.
[Edit: I had a brain fart and somehow thought 1.75 oz is more than the standard 50g tin. It's obviously not. Never mind!]

Yeah, Balkan Sobraine is okay, just not something I would chase when many better are widely and readily available.
$20? I'm good. I have three tins which will probably last me the rest of my life since I prefer Balkan Supreme, White Knight, or the Sutliff Match BS to the Germain BS anyway. The Germain's blend is decent, but not for $20.
I'm glad everyone is keeping their cool. In fact there is a tin limit: it's 150 per person.
There's no way in hell I'd tie up $3000 of my money in the black hole that is P&C customer service. And as was mentioned above, there certainly aren't 150 tins per person to go around.
I hope for anyone's sake that took the plunge that the customer service nightmare in 2020 isn't too fierce.

No kidding. They got me with a $250 double charge back in 2017 during the IPSD sale.
got two tins and confirmation. never had it before, so willing to be disappointed.
For a $3000 double-charge, or even a backorder, I'd have to visit customer service in person.
