I ran across a sample of H&H Larry's Blend that I got from P&C a few months ago. Tried it in an Ascorti. It's a very rich, full-bodied Balkan blend. Good stuff!

Just tried McCranies Red Ribbon which is a full Virginia. Too much like regular cig baccy for me. I'll just save it for the next box pass.

Also tried some MacBaren Black Ambrosia tonight. That is the last time I try any of their products. It bit hard just like the Vanilla loose cut of theirs and I could not keep it going either...after the fifth relite I gave up on it.

a bit of Sterling Bargain Blend in a KW white briar--
since it is a free sample i'll say it was 'interesting'--a bit bitter in the pouch and at fireup, but improved toward to bottom of the bowl--
