byzcath: Been a Milan customer for a while. In fact that's where I bought the Ben Wade pictured on the previous page.

But I never tried Star City Delight. "A blend of various Virginias and black Cavendish... vanilla and slight hints of

exotic fruits and peach" sounds pretty good. What are your impressions?
P.A. in a GBD bulldog, followed by

Anni Kake in a no-name meer, a choice wholly inspired by Fred's excellent feature article.

(I got out the bee's wax and resumed the nearly lifelong task of coloring it.)

P.A. in a GBD bulldog for a kick-start, then

McClelland Bulk 2025:English Cavendish in a Butz-Choquin bulldog.
This tobacco is just as advertised:

Light, broken, small-flake lemon Brazilian and orange Middle Belt leaf with Xanthi -- rounder than a straight Virginia.

...but I'm gonna have to learn how to pack it because I needed a lot of re-lights; but it's really very good.
Packing... which reminds me, Porshcigar, have fun at the Columbus show!

Mild and very flavorful. It is my current favorite.

cortez,
I have had better results with McClelland flakes when I rub them out a little more than usual. For me, that seems to greatly reduce the number of re-lights.
Oh, Captain Earle's Mystic Blend in an Autograph.

Thanks Cortezattic! Odin's Axe was the first time I saw IMP sell this shape,

and SmokingPipes.com carried it. It's really been a good smoker.

Thanks kcvet67, I'll try that. I'd also like to get a low velocity hair blower to dry-up some of these McC flakes in the hopes they'd stay lit better. I can't use the wife's blower as it's low speed has wind tunnel strength. ITMT, I'm gonna give a bunch a good rub and let it sit out overnight.
P.A. in a Julius Vesz bulldog.

Okay had a bowl of Constant Companion in my new Stanwell Royal Danish, followed by a bowl of some trashcan blend in my Kaywoodie drinkless, and finally a bowl of PA in my Canterbury bulldog.
