One ounce (28g.) samples is too much for my liking. All I want is a few grams, enough for a bowl or two...just to try a blend.
Yeah, I understand that. I don't buy 1 ounce samples anymore. I've purchased too many 1 ounce samples I end up not liking. I end up giving them away or they sit in jars in my cellar.A few grams isn’t worth the bag they’d put it in. I can understand 1-2 ounce minimums. A few grams is basically charity.
Woohoo! It’s happening! ?Ok, this post and @Jimmy_Jack 's ad have inspired me. I have lots of variety jarred, like many of us. I think I'll put some samplers up for sale next week. (I'll have to wait a week, per the rules, since I just posted other tobacco for sale yesterday.)
Yeah, I was just curious if it was something that people did with their opened or cellared tobaccos. I guess not, lol
Yeah, I've only been to one place that had some tins opened for sampling. Not everything the sold was available, of course, but they had 6 or 8 tins open if you wanted to try them.Nothing that comes in bulk or that could easily be parsed out for samples, unless a gracious B&M or online retailer was willing to open up some GLP samples for people to try. GLP non lat blends really, looking to try Windjammer, Haddos, Stonehenge etc...
Do some UK tobacconists offer samples for a few pennies or any price?
Reposted in hope of getting attention from the UK....And are they forbidden to offer free samples as with many states in the US?
That would be very cool of you!I may just make some up.That'd be kinda cool. I have a shit ton of tobacco and I'm dumping a lot off as I get older. Can't take it with.
