Absolutely. Over the years I have tried and been disappointed with several blends to the point that when I find one that really clicks then I want to have a supply of it for the future.

I am a big fan of GL Pease blends and many great ones of his are on the chopping block. If I can buy some to put away for aging, why not?

I have put all my spare money to acquiring post 2/07 tobaccos I am in love with (about 4 or 5 blends) to the point where I have notg bought an actual pipe in years but order tobacco about every 3 months.

I kind of made a race to 10lbs. As kids are on the horizon if I have to stop buying tobacco that’s more than fine. A couple of tin every couple months from travelling friends will be more than enough to maintain this level for a while maybe even grow it. Slow but happy smoker.

If I run out I run out I run out... it’s a privileged problem to begin with.

Sure is nice to have a stock though :)
