Now I don't begrudge the man Pacino for having a child at 83, good luck to the guy, but this here lady friend of his is 29, a mere slip of a lass when put into context.

Her previous squeeze was Mick Jagger when he was 74.

Now Mick Jagger has the sort of face only a mother could love so I'm left wondering, what could possibly be the attraction to two super famous multi millionaire guys in their 70's and 80's?

It must be love

I wonder if Al will make it to his son's graduation let alone his wedding.

Regards,

Jay.

Not cool, Jay. What are you trying to say? That if Pacino was an 83 year old trash collector living in a one room apartment with his cat, "Mittens" then this woman wouldn't be all over him? Surely not? 😐

I think you shouldn't have kids after a certain age. The kids always seem slightly past their sell by date. Even if one parent is younger. Fame and talent might even be bigger aphrodisiacs' then money. Heck I've seen more then a few times where a little talent with no money or fame helped someone swing well out of their league.

At 29, she'll be past her prime next year. I guess then Al will be on to the next one.

I always found it odd that women who marry rich men get most of the opprobrium from the peanut gallery. Elderly, wealthy men know the risks, say, a sudden bout of buyer's remorse from their spouse can have on their bottom-line. These aren't ignorant marks. They've the wealth and power to have whatever they want, and what they want more than anything is some tight puss. One sympathizes. However, should their bargain, as it were, fall through, then they've only themselves to blame.

Raising kids is hard work, requiring a lot of time and energy. I'm 51 and would not want to do it again.
I'm 40 and struggling with a soon to be 4 year old.

I purposely chose to focus on education and career moves when younger. I look back and don't know how I did some things back then (like living in 2 parts of the state while working 70+ hours over 7 days a week and having maybe 5 days off a year).

I paid off my school loans in under 10 years and was able to be with my father when he passed, but sacrificed a lot personally and socially. I was in a different place, but don't regret a thing.
