My grandfather sired my father when in his 70's!

Unsurprisingly I never met him.

A college roommate was bitter his father was in his sixties when he was born.

actually one thing no one mentioned is in this case the surrogate father is the pool boy and not a tennis coach or yoga teacher. This kid is going to be great at skimming water surfaces.

I hope Al and his bride are happy. It helps to have two parents in running shoes to keep up with the offspring once they become ambulatory, but I guess they can hire someone to do that.

How will this go down with the kid? Time will tell. A memoire in the making.

I had my dad until I was sixty years old. What a luxury. There are still often things I'd like to ask him.
