@Pooh-Bah - thank you for the suggestions, I like the sound of both of those games ...that's too bad to hear about Mass Effect, I only have an hour or two in so far - glad the first one is worthwhile at least. Cheers!

The good news is that none of the original trilogy are truly bad - First Mass Effect is amazing, the second one is solid, the third one is alright.
I haven't touched Andromeda.

Dragon Age peaks at Origins, declines rather sharply with 2 (plot is still good, but they only made like, six dungeon designs that they reuse constantly), and I made it maybe 20 hours into Inquisition before realizing that even trying to be a completionist was a fool's errand - I had only just touched the first major plot beat (narrative equivalent: when you're made a Spectre in ME 1) and threw my hands up in disgust.
I haven't touched Veilguard, and don't plan to.

My first post in a long time, and it's about gaming rather than pipes (priorities haha!). I've been playing games since Atari! Mostly, I'm a RPG and racing sim player, but I mix it up from time to time. Currently, I'm working through Final Fantasy XVII, MAFIA II, and Assetto Corsa Competizione. At 50 years old, I never outgrew the video game bug and I hope I never do.

I play on X Box One, I only buy games when they are on sale on the Microsoft Store. I don't even remember the last time I bought a physical disc, you can save so much more buying digital if you're patient. Right now I'm playing Darkest Dungeon, a roguelike gothic fantasy game. It's challenging but very fun when you get the hang of it, and there's even some pipe smoking in it:ss_b78c562dc67379f42691dcc8522b40d5385bb32e.1920x1080.jpg
