Haven't tried it myself, but I do watch Internet Historian's video on it every couple months.I've been playing a lot of No Man's Sky on the Switch lately. After mocking it unceasingly for years, I finally bought it and gave it a try: it's turned out to be a pretty enjoyable game
This, and SwitchUp videos, were two of the main reasons why I bought it. The team has spent years improving the game, rather than simply giving up. I respect that dedication: it’s extremely rare.Haven't tried it myself, but I do watch Internet Historian's video on it every couple months.
If nothing else, gotta respect the developers for their commitment to taking what was a broken disappointment on release and trying to fix it. Respect for the consumer and honor, right there.
Love that game!Earned my white robe in Journey:
Frankly, it deserved mocking. Just like Aliens: Colonial Marines got mocked for not delivering on its promises, or some of the modern "live services" games get mocked for constant money grubbing when they tank. But unlike, say Concord, the developers of No Man's Sky did the honorable thing and kept working on the game, and trying to deliver on some of the promises and give players a rewarding experience. Which is rad. I know it's gone from my "mock list" to my "want to play" list.I've been playing a lot of No Man's Sky on the Switch lately. That's what I am currently playing. I was really excited to play it given the near unanimous masterpiece reviews. I have really come to enjoy RPGs over the past 10 years or so. I've gotten into a bunch of different kids, Actions RPGs, JRPGs, turn-based SRPGs, etc.Hopefully its still on sale by the time I get paid So i can finally get Baldurs gate 3.
I put in about 800 hours back around 2011/12ish. Had lots of fun right up until the marketplace first opened up. It was already starting to loose its luster once trading and randomized drops were introduced though. We got Starlink a few days ago, and I fired up Team Fortress 2, which I haven’t been able to play since 2019. I guess I’ve played a few hours of that.
