I like 'em both. Newminister is sweeter due to whatever topping it has.Never tried the Newminster 400. Luxury navy flake is extremely enjoyable though
+1 for me as well. I haven't tried any of the small amount of Newminster SNF I have stashed yet but looking forward to it, especially based on price.the one consistent thing I've noticed with pipe tobaccos is that anything navy flake is going to kick ass. Seriously have had every single navy flake recommended highly to me.
It’s hella bitey to my palate. Not a big fan here, would probably enjoy it if it didn’t obliterate my mouth on first sip. Some blends are worth pushing through and getting acclimated but not this one in my opinion.Glad to be of service. But, I think it is the honey topping in MacBitey's Virginia #1 that makes it bitey. I don't remember SNF being bitey, but in my mind I think I do associate SNF with VA #1. Either way, I haven't really tapped a jar since I ordered it.
It bites me too if I push it or don’t let it dry some. Definitely one of those “smoke with care” blends for me. But I can say that about quite a few Virginia blends. It’s hella bitey to my palate. This one has gotta be a chemical reaction, I mean it wrecks my mouth (gums and all) the second the smoke seeps out of the stem. I’ve had this happen with a few other blends and I’ve said this in the past, if I just push through it, eventually my mouth acclimates to the smoke but I have to really really like it in order for me to get the fortitude to push through it.It bites me too if I push it or don’t let it dry some. Okay, you got me. That's effing cool!❤ That's now my phone's wallpaper.
Can you tell I was busy at work? ?Okay, you got me. That's effing cool!❤ That's now my phone's wallpaper.
That’s way cool man. The only thing is when I watch the movie now I can’t help but think of Falcor as a bit pedo
The movie took a LOT of artistic license. The story is only very loosely connected to the book, and only hits plot points of around 1/3 of it. Not really sure how the dog appearance came about as he was very dragon-like in the book. That’s way cool man. I know they were trying to make him dog-like but it comes off creepy haha
