Look I'm not pointing any fingers here but are you sure you weren't patient zero in this whole mess? Eating bats & spreading infected HU tobacco to poor unsuspecting forum members?
To be fair contracting coronavirus (or to give it its new and correct name, alaskanpipervirus) would probably be worth enduring if the end result is also owning some lovely HU Tobacco?.
You know I was a little skeptical about that bat sashimi I had. Didn’t look fresh.

I'm very glad to hear that you guys who think you had it recovered as well as you did.

But considering that we're in the process of destroying the economy of the entire Western world and putting God knows how many people out of work over this bad cold virus, perhaps you could have at least stayed sick a little longer...you know, just so it would all seem worth it.

Not this winter but last winter, I had a weird respiratory thing. I had to sleep sitting up, and it came with a dry cough that took weeks to clear, really nasty. Then my wife got the same thing. It was a walking malady; that is, I could get up and do the business of the day, but I didn't sleep well. Since I kept moving, I never took it to the doctor. I thought maybe it was a flu bug slightly ameliorated by having had the flu shot, but I don't really know, of course. The most effective medicines were DayQuil and NyQuil two or three times a day. I thought of them as dessert wine. Halls cough drops, the eucalyptus, helped. No pipe smoking for me until I was well. Sometimes sweating under an extra cover helps, raises body temp so the bug cooks. I think pets don't get our viruses because their body temperatures are too high and the bugs can't take it. The bugs just get swallowed and digested.

Just regular flu here, recovering. Had sinus issues after the fever abated, which I’m informed is not characteristic of this new virus. Hoping to be healthy before inundated again.

Can’t say how much less worried I am now that the stats show my kids will likely have it easier than I will.

I dreamed last night that the back pain I am (in reality) currently experiencing was related to CoronaVirus and it confirmed the infection.

In all seriousness I think it logical to conclude that millions will catch the disease without ever having confirmation.

They say 40% of those hospitalized are 20-54.

I’ve seen this, too. It’s not surprising, I don’t think, as the chances of having a severe form of COVID19 and needing hospitalization seems to be around 15% across all ages-it’s just that your chances of not recovering are much higher if you’re older. I’m 32 and well aware that this has the potential to land me in the hospital, but that my chances of dying as a result are less than 1%. That is, IF the hospital has oxygen, a bed, and staff enough to treat me...

I’d also bet that all Americans have about a 70% chance of getting it in the next year...there is NO containment possible at this point.

It’s weird times, folks.

I agree with anotherbob; Prior to Xmas I had EXTREME pain in my middle chest and couldn't move for a week. I was exhausted and any movement of my body hurt. It was worse at night with chills. My breathing was compromised. It coincided with some black tea that arrived from a Chinese Farm via airmail that I handled and consumed two days prior. Could have been a coincidence, but it came from China. The only other place I had been was the Post Office. Someone I know just had something like this too and has since recovered.

very likely not the package unless it got from there to you in five days under the right conditions. But who knows.

Statistics can be a little misleading. I have been thinking about that post I made...

Would'nt the statistic still be true if 100% of the people in that group who were hospitalized were over the age of 50??

News can be a bitch to sort through anymore.
