Hi there, I was wondering if there are any reenactors / living history members on this forum?
If you are reading this and you are, I would be greatly interested to see pictures of your outfits, set-up etc, which period you re-enact & if you smoke pipes at events.
I’m not but I enjoy seeing what you share of your events!

A girlfriend I had when I lived in Suffolk often appeared as a serving wench when the local Kentwell Hall (mentioned in the Domesday book) did their mediaeval displays. Does that count?

"Kentwell Hall pioneered living history in the UK – something for the whole family to enjoy together. Over Easter we shall have Tudors active (in the Bakehouse, Dairy and Stillroom) and Victorians in the House and Tudor Stables. Each portraying aspects of life of their period".

I briefly flirted with the idea of deadball era baseball reenactment. I was in contact with a group nearby but never followed through. I think the lack of baseball gloves was a partial dealbreaker because I love baseball gloves.
