I for one miss McQuaid's Plug. It was like smoking cake.

I do prefer baccy non-messed-with generally speaking. But sometimes there are these goopy angels and it's annoying that they have been phased out by (and I will put this very plainly) eejits. Or grouped in with inferior stuff.

Aromatics I've enjoyed:
- Mac Baren's Vanilla Rollcake/Dark Twist/Plumcake
- Solani: Tropical Flake (a little much occasionally, but carefully smoked, can be nice)
- War Horse Bar / Green (or indeed the original) honestly, fantastic stuff but quite strong.
- Note: If you can appreciate the surreal beauty of hospital floors covered in marzipan, go for WH Green.
- The original St.Bruno (the new one is timid and expensive, why bother?)
- Ken Byron Ventures - Brown Flake Licorice
- The original McQuaid's Cut Plug (alas, a gonner)
- Revor/Conniston/Bosun/Cannon etc. from G&H and Samuel Gawith.
- G&H Rope Black Cherry Twist (Blackcurrent)
