Are you smoking for nic or for peace of mind? I smoke only cause I want to when the time hits, not sure if I need it (probably do ,since I chew) but a real man provides for he's family, and has integrity, honor and values
It was a very stressful day. I think my adrenaline was up. That could explain it.Stress can increase adrenaline which could have counteracted the nicotine because you were burning it off as fast as you were consuming it. Or ... your getting used to it.
Look down at your chest.
Do you see those brand new little curly hairs?
Now wait until you see what's going on a bit lower.
Well I don't smoke for an effect. I just smoke a pipe to look cool and I love the the smell of a pipe, I stick with the blends I like ,maybe once in a while it will buy on ounce outside of my comfort zone and find a new blend I likeI had a rough day at work yesterday, so after a light dinner I was craving a little nicotine to help me unwind. I loaded a MM 5th Avenue Diplomat with C&D Cigar Leaf, rated as a strong blend, and settled in for my smoke. I do not have a high tolerance for nicotine so I expected to be feeling it by mid bowl, but nothing. I smoked the bowl to the bottom with absolutely no effects. I have smoked this tobacco from the same jar many times and always felt it by midway, and usually had to put the pipe down before it was done. I waited a while to see if it was a delayed response thing, but still nothing. Well, I wanted that little buzz so I packed a Sav 104 tight with Five Brothers from a jar I had smoked from before with good nicotine content. I figured a few puffs and I would be good to go. I smoked over half the bowl with absolutely no effect. Usually, half a bowl of Five Brothers has me feeling it pretty good. I should have been sick at this point. I stopped there because I didn’t want to risk a delayed reaction overdose event, but I never felt a thing, not in the slightest. I suspect my next go will be the same response as usual, but this one time was very strange.
Has anyone else ever had a spontaneous increase in nicotine tolerance, either temporary or permanent?

It has absolutely nothing to do with it. But, a provocative title can inspire some lively responses. Not sure what nicotine tolerance has to do with being a man...![]()
Y chromosomes are also helpful.I prefer tobacco more on the milder side with a lower nicotine content. I've tried some stronger tobacco and have occasionally experienced a reaction, which I don't mind if it is very mild but choose to avoid. I don't need the buzz nor want any addition to nicotine. The pleasures of a pleasant taste and the enjoyment of the relaxing process of pipe smoking is my enjoyment and satisfaction.
On a more series note, ones tolerance level of nicotine has nothing to do with manhood. Manhood is measured by one's character, conduct and integrity.
Quiche is a fine lady no reason to bring her into this. Though seeing her has turned a few boys into young men. ButJust one question. Do you eat quiche?
well men do have a higher tendency to have a higher baseline tolerance. Because God also made us more prone to do dumb risks probably. Not sure what nicotine tolerance has to do with being a man...![]()
Last words of someone: "Whats this button do?"well men do have a higher tendency to have a higher baseline tolerance. Because God also made us more prone to do dumb risks probably.
Also said to many triage nurses at the emergency room.Last words of someone: "Whats this button do?"
Theres a parallel universe where my last words were "Hold my beer I wanna try something with these fireworks."Last words of someone: "Whats this button do?"
Next week your response to a bowl of Five Bothers could be different. I noticed that in myself.Well, I wanted that little buzz so I packed a Sav 104 tight with Five Brothers from a jar I had smoked from before with good nicotine content. I figured a few puffs and I would be good to go. I smoked over half the bowl with absolutely no effect.
