Very cool! Should be a great night. I have a few things in the works and I may be bringing an ol' friend who needs to get out more often.

I went to see Monty Python the other day in their last ever show - http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/videos/watch-monty-python-sing-their-last-song-ever-20140722. We shall not see their like again. Which is probably for the best(!)

Andy,

My wife and I watched that show from our local movie theater, via space-based technology. Although I enjoyed it, they were not at their best. My understanding is that the troupe needed to raise money to pay off the producer of "The Holy Grail", who had recently won a court settlement against them for royalties.

I agree Dan; they ARE old men and it showed. They've done those sketches a million times and their audience is not getting any younger Most people there knew every word off-by-heart. John Cleese in particular wasn't particularly engaged, but they've earned their place in legend.

Legend, indeed.

More so, they are embedded in our culture, and how many of us can lay claim to that?

Last night was another good night at the LVPC. We sat, dined, puffed and BS'd with some old piper acquaintances and met some new ones. Let's do it again next month! Happy puffin',

Yes great to see everyone again! Even without Russ and John our ranks are growing, love it! By the way Dan thanks for those little ebochauns, they would get lost on the big lathe but I have a smaller one with a 3.5" self centering chuck...I think it'll work;)

I didn't think to check to see if it was available anywhere else. I just gave in to my TAD and stocked up. I hope I have some left for you to sample by the time the next meeting comes around.
