Starting to Get Obsessed
This afternoon, I am sitting in my office, listening to some nice music, and enjoying some PS Luxury Navy Flake in celebration of my new (to me) tobacco storage bookcase. I've been looking for a barrister bookcase like this for almost as long as I've smoked a pipe (10+ years), and finally found this one yesterday on FB marketplace and drove out to pick it up this morning. The guy was nice enough to hold it for me for a day and I feel really lucky to have gotten it. I think it's absolutely beautiful - solid oak, too - and I love cabinet doors on the bottom half. I couldn't be happier and feel like it was well worth the wait!

I just wanted to share these pictures with you all, as I'm sure you'll appreciate it as much as I do. This is definitely a lifetime piece of furniture for me.

That is awesome, and the hat on the guitar case looks pretty sweet too . . .

That painting wouldn't happen to be Smith Rock would it? I haven't spent a lot of time in that part of the state, but I have driven by Smith Rock a time or two and that picture looks familiar

Half n Half occupies the base of the food pyramid! We could be friends!
Hahah! Yes, my old standby... I still have to try some Granger, though!

No, not Smith Rock, but very similar! All of the terrain in that region looks kind of similar. The guy who painted it told me where it was, but I forget now. I swear he said like... Three Mile Canyon or something? I tried mapping it the other day but didn't have any luck. Smith Rock looks sweet though; I need to take a drive out there soon.

That's great! Anything under glass, especially for pipe storage is a win. You can see them but they don't get too dusty from lack of cycling.
