Oh no! Why's that? Just too heavy/fragile to move?Well done!
When we move in a few years, it's likely my pipe cabinet doesn't make the trip.
If anyone in the Maryland area is interested, let me know!
Yes, that original bow-front glass will never survive a move. And, it's just too big, for what will be a smaller place. I'm searching for a map-style cabinet, to get them out of the sunlight completely and have a smaller profile.Oh no! Why's that? Just too heavy/fragile to move?
That is awesome, and the hat on the guitar case looks pretty sweet too . . .This afternoon, I am sitting in my office, listening to some nice music, and enjoying some PS Luxury Navy Flake in celebration of my new (to me) tobacco storage bookcase. I've been looking for a barrister bookcase like this for almost as long as I've smoked a pipe (10+ years), and finally found this one yesterday on FB marketplace and drove out to pick it up this morning. The guy was nice enough to hold it for me for a day and I feel really lucky to have gotten it. I think it's absolutely beautiful - solid oak, too - and I love cabinet doors on the bottom half. I couldn't be happier and feel like it was well worth the wait!
I just wanted to share these pictures with you all, as I'm sure you'll appreciate it as much as I do. This is definitely a lifetime piece of furniture for me.

Hahah! Yes, my old standby... I still have to try some Granger, though!Half n Half occupies the base of the food pyramid! We could be friends!
No, not Smith Rock, but very similar! All of the terrain in that region looks kind of similar. The guy who painted it told me where it was, but I forget now. I swear he said like... Three Mile Canyon or something? I tried mapping it the other day but didn't have any luck. Smith Rock looks sweet though; I need to take a drive out there soon. That painting wouldn't happen to be Smith Rock would it? I haven't spent a lot of time in that part of the state, but I have driven by Smith Rock a time or two and that picture looks familiar
Still going strong, thank goodness (I have three &, like you, I love them): Rodgers - Pipe Knife - Stag Horn - https://www.gqtobaccos.com/accessories/rodgers-pipe-knife-stag-horn/Thank you! It's one of my most prized possessions. It's a Joseph Roger's pipe knife with buffalo horn inlay. I think I bought it in 2016 or so - I'm not sure if they're still making them. I checked a few sites for you and they're all out of stock.
Same story here. Buffalo Horn and a Stag model. They have become impossible to find.Still going strong, thank goodness (I have three &, like you, I love them): Rodgers - Pipe Knife - Stag Horn - https://www.gqtobaccos.com/accessories/rodgers-pipe-knife-stag-horn/
