A Most Curious Blend: Gawith’s “Jamaican Flake”

I’ve been smoking Rum Jamaican Flake for years. I get a slight maple note if I get any flavoring at all from it but I’ve never gotten any licorice from it.

I've only smoked about six bowls but didn't get any licorice flavor, either. What I did get was fooking delicious. This is one I'm considering for a big purchase.

I picked up a couple oz of bulk recently, as I’m on a GH&Co binge.
I almost got a tin in NC back in Sept, but the gent at the shop talked me into Bob’s ChocoFlake.
I like anise, but I didn’t pick up much. The one bowl I smoked I didn’t set aside time for, so I didn’t pay the attention I should’ve. I think I’ll spend my lunch revisiting it tomorrow.
