When is the dead line to get the package out to who we have been matched with? I won't be able to send out a package until after Valentine's day.

@Lordnoble, It was easier for me to find everyone using the homepage messaging system!
@Hobie, there are two message systems...
screen-capture-4.png

The one at the top will show that you have a Notification no matter if you are on the home page or the forums, and the other on the right side will only show up when you are on the forums!
Now if you can't find the Home page message system, then go to the home page look at the top and put your mouse over the My Account button and you will see this...

Wow! I received my "mystery" pass-er which was no mystery since he (papipeguy) sent me a note along with some really interesting tobaccos:

Lane Ltd.'s Crown Achievement

Rattray's Bagpiper's Dream
I've been looking forward to trying the CA, since, as he put in his note, Lane claimed that it was the most expensive blend to produce. Can't wait to see how it fares! Also, the Bagpiper's Dream has been on my TAD list since papipeguy started talking about it here on the forum.
Now to my favorite part of the package...The note.
Papipeguy (John) talked about each blend a little bit while providing a narrative for my imagination to run with. It added a personal touch to a personal thing, your go-to blend.
I thought this was a great idea, so when I send out my package tomorrow, I'll be including a little note for my passee explaining why I included what I did.
Thanks John (papipeguy)!

I find that this is a fun way to share our hobby and become friends despite the miles that separate us. Thanks to Wade Duncan and Bubba for organizing this. I'm sure that it was a lot of work.

Indeed, though I think I shall be thanking one of them properly soon enough.
I sent mine out today by the by, so whoever my recipient was (I already forgot because it was a real name and not a screen name ha ha) I hope you enjoy it. I forgot to put the letter in, and I don't want to give away who I sent to, so let me say here for whoever gets from me -- I strongly advise cellaring it after you've tried it. That is a special blend I made myself I am somewhat proud of, and felt liek sharing half of it, but from what I can tell of the flavour it is too complicated, with too many different flavour ingredients to really make sense right now.
Come a year, perhaps two, the entropy of the blends from my particular tastes for the strange (I mean, c'mon, look at my collection arranged so Helter Skelter from so many different flavours) and varied shall have had time to recover from the almost savage mixture I made of them, and truly blend together. It's like shaking a bottle of wine, it takes a few years for everything to settle back down and get comfortable again.
I won't say what's in it (because I only remember about a third of the ingredients for one) only that it has some existing blends from tins, and some home blending tobaccos as well (pure burley, perique, a pure oriental, what have you). I do very much hope you enjoy it, and while I'm somewhat sorry I forgot to put the note in the bloody box (d'oh), my handwriting is practically illegible anyway so it may be for the best.

Hey! I'm glad you like it onizuka! To let everyone else in on it, that was Nat Sherman #536, Empire English. It was Kevin's recommendation as a super B&M-only blend. If you like stanky, hardcore 'baccy, that's it! I hope you enjoy it my friend, with an appropriately strong adult beverage

Just make sure you're sitting down....
