17 Hours Through Nevada

I had an assignment in North Central Nevada and thought you might be interested in the variety my home state offers.

Technically it’s ten hours on the road and six on scene.

All pictures are from my cab because the day was long enough.

Fairly barren state I take it? Of course, I'm not one to talk given I live in central Kansas and I think from there to the Colorado border is fairly barren.

I’ve only been to Nevada a couple of times and I haven’t ventured far from Las Vegas - that’s going to have to change. Thanks for the photos

Nevada is an interesting state, and once outside of Las Vegas the landscapes is breathtaking. I spend a lot of time in Laughlin, the area where California, Arizona, and Nevada come together. It is very much the old west. The majority of the state is owned by the government.

This feature is in actually on the Arizona side of the Colorado and welcomes people as they come in from Nevada.

The last photo is a little odd. It is either saying "Thank, god, I'm out of Nevada" or it's telling you go to hell back there.

My wife and I drove through Nevada on the way back from our honeymoon. We were floored by how beautiful it is. I think a lot of people just think it's a desert, but it has a variety of nature to experience.

Well, it’s about 30 miles North of Vegas on US93 and I’m driving towards Sin City.

So you’re not wrong. Lol.
