Your posted images look a lot like my own pipes. I would suggest though a bit or reaming of the bowl would likely be helpful in this case.

Yeah, I ream it once and a while. If I absolutely need to. But otherwise I prefer it this way.

So after bowl 390, it was time for another ream. Even my bone dry crumbly tobacco was smoking wet.

391 was a nice big long smoke

It is good to see a pipe age and gain it's battle scars through good, honest daily smoking. It gets a life of it's own distinguishing it from a hundred like it. Respect!
