Do any of you possess memories that mean something to you, that associate Christmas with pipe smoking?
For instance, did a father, grandfather, or uncle smoke a pipe at Christmas festivities?
Or do you yourself have a certain pipe or tobacco that you always smoke at a certain Christmas event?

I don't have those memories of pipe smoking relatives, but my grandfather smoked unfiltered Pall Mall's and there's something about the smoke that reminds me of his and my grandmother's house. We used to visit them over Christmas every year and it is just comforting to think about those days.
I think I've been smoking the pipe long enough now that it has become a future memory for my children. For me, I tend to smoke cherry aromatics during the holidays because it reminds me of Christmas, the family likes the smell, and at this point it has just become tradition. Plus, smoking inside with cherry is much more amenable than latakia.
