Do You Keep Certain Pipes For Certain Types of Tobacco?
Tring different tobaccos in different pipes is part of the fun! Once I find a good match, that pipe is dedicated to that tobacco for as long as I am smoking that blend. I had an 8 year old tin that I recently opened, and did not care for it either, until I smoked it in a wide bowled Canadian that I have. It was a “wow” moment, and I was sorry when the tin ran out. Which Pipe Material If You Had To Choose One
My favorite is Briar, but I have a Ryan Alden Morta that is fantastic. -
Virginia fermentation exceleration
Not sure how it works, but baking tobacco at 300 degrees for 3 hours used to be a technique for artificially aging a tobacco. I have never tried it, but there are many posts here on the forum discussing it.- rigmedic1
