I've been using a tuppador for a couple of years and it works great for me. I also only keep around 75 cigars at a time. I've no plan to horde cigars like I do pipe tobacco.
I smoke a variety of wrappers but am not a daily cigar smoker and never will be. I only smoke a few cigars a week. My wife hates the smell on me. I am guessing that I would need to smoke cigars daily to refine my palate.
I'm enjoying the Fuente Flora Fina Claro, which is very green like candela. Fairly mild with a pungent room note. I'd like to try the 858 candela too.
I enjoy mild cigars though, and am no snob. I like several affordable cigars.
The only one I'm interested in at this point is Stonehaven. I've also just had so many spectacular, readily available blends lately my desire to chase these has greatly diminished.
I have the same issue with Tinsky's hideous star. New Dunhill pipes. Most high end pipes. Some high-end pipes are stunning and seem worth the craftsmanship.
