    Cobs vs Briars

I find that the only tobaccos I can really get to shine in cobs are burleys. I really like burley though, as I do most tobaccos. PA in a cob is pure bliss!

    G. L. Pease - Samarra

I just received an aged tin of this in a trade and will give it a whirl once I get some more open stuff smoked up, thanks for the review

    Anyone else have this problem?

I don't think I have too much tobacco, I do have a problem with having too many open blends though. I do like variety so it's not a huge problem, just seems like it takes forever to get through all the opens

    Your GO-TO Blend

My go to blends are PA and Storm Front, neither really come in tins. I enjoy other blends more but if I can't decide what else to smoke, these always satisfy

    Whats your DREAM pipe?

Mine is a birth year (1980) Peterson system pipe. I saw a Peterson supreme a while back that I wanted but the $300 price tag is way out of my range.

    New Peterson Question

If the pipe doesn't live up to your expectations you shouldn't hesitate to contact the vendor about a replacement. If they won't help you, Peterson certainly will. No sense in hanging onto a pipe you aren't happy with

    Biotene- And- Saline Solution

I don't have a problem with dry nose but for a rinse I use Biotene and hydrogen peroxide mixed with water. Works a treat. Biotene before brushing, peroxide afterwards

My new Peterson African Meerschaum ....

Those meers are great, I own one just like that but it's colored differently. It smokes great. Another guy that hasn't tried Grousemoor. I love SG's blends but haven't bit the bullet on that particular blend yet

I just had to do it!

Cool story, good to see your blend came out so well after some age. I have a couple tins that are about 6 years old. Gotta wait a few more years to try anything over ten years aged. Most of my cellar has 1-3 years on it but after some years I'll have some great tasting tobaccos. I guess the...

What Are Your Favorite C&D Blends & Why

I've only tried three so far as I can remember and they are really good Old Joe Krantz Mississippi Mud Billy Budd Actually, I tried Junkyard Dawg and though it tasted good, something about it didn't agree with me. Forgot about that one
