    Aroma Inside without Smoking Inside

Does anyone know of a clever way to get the room note of an aromatic inside the house without smoking in the house? Thanks!

    A New Poker

Was searching Etsy for a sandblasted poker and came across a local maker. Reached out and found out he didn't really take requests, and wasn't a fan of pokers. That said, we exchanged emails about my thoughts and budget, and a few days later there was a dark blast poker with zebrawood and...

    Why Press Tobacco???

Came across a couple vids yesterday showing tobacco being placed into a PVC tube, and then being compressed for a length of time to create a cake. What is the main purpose behind this process? Thanks joe

    Tiny Man Cave

Wrapped up the magnetic pipe stand today (mostly, one of the magnets broke so waiting on a replacement) and opened up that front-facing slat a bit so my jars and tins will be a bit more visible.

    Tiny Man Cave

Sub-basement is, in fact, below my basement (basically a storage room). Also....although I reload, wife says no smoking in the house, so explosions should be minimal :D

    Tiny Man Cave

After organizing the sub-basement, I ended up with a roughly 6'x4' spot that I've taken over as my man cave. I shoot and reload a fair amount, so it's mostly a work spot for that, however, seemed like a good place to store some tobacco and maybe a few pipes, so picked up a small pallet from...

    "Flexible Angle" Pipe Stand

Still planning magnets for the first piece of walnut, I also have several portions of walnut tree truck that can be milled into smaller single or double stands....planning to try the wire pieces for those. If I can sneak in some shop-time between youth soccer tourney games this weekend, I'll...

    "Flexible Angle" Pipe Stand

Does anyone know where I can purchase the wire portion of a flexible angle pipe stand? I have a beautiful piece of walnut I'd like to add one to, but I can't seem to track one down. Thanks joe

It's the large size, and agreed, the price is just right.

Been thinking about one of these for quite some time, I really, really like this shape. Was outbid on a Rossi earlier this evening, but found another in much better condition at smokingpipes.com. Hopefully it'll show next week and will be placed atop a new pipe stand I'm working on :D

    McClelland Memmories

I was late to the game as well......found out a couple days ago. In 2015 when I started my pipe journey, I ordered 1 tin each of the Frog Mortons.....they are stored in small mason jars as we speak (tins are displayed in my hall).

Pipe Display - Work in Progress

Planning to use a properly sized forstner bit to recess them in slightly deeper than their thickness. I'm hoping the little "ledge" that creates will help the pipes stand with their stems at roughly 30-degrees. The spherical magnet will be dropped in the bowl. Might consider a piece of felt...

Pipe Display - Work in Progress

Been thinking this project through for several weeks, and have decided to get started. My intention will be to utilize disc and spherical rare earth magnets to get 4 pipes (not these) to "stand up" and be seen. The old walnut slab is something I salvaged from here in KC a few years ago, and...

    Smoking Outdoors

aro222......it's a Walker Briar Works acrylic stem. It's about 2" long with a very mild bend. It fit kinda loose when it arrived, but I added a tiny dab of gel super glue to the tenon to tighten it up(let it dry before inserting).

Thanks for the insight, and I like your gear (especially your trailer). I run a Vapor 10 with spinning gear here in KC. I've modified a cob with a short bent forever stem, so I think I'll be taking that one along. I also have several batches of tobacco jarred up, so I'll need to look through...
