First Crumble Cake
I almost always fully rub out crumble cakes, dry as needed, and gravity fill. I find that if I just break into chunks, I have more trouble controlling the moisture content and end up with smokes that are too wet.- musicman

Marlin Flake...
Update: Inspired by this thread, during a late night dog walk, I just smoked some 2014 Marlin Flake that was gifted to me in a tobacco bomb by @ashdigger. I dried it about 20 min and it smoked beautifully. Delicious!- musicman

Yes. You've probably got some perfectly smokable Ennerdale, no drying time needed, and Ennerdale is so heavily sauced that you'll still have plenty of sweet lakeland presence.- musicman

You're right. I mistyped. I smoke Ennerdale, and any of the sweet Lakelands out of the briar, and strong scented ones such as a Dark flake scented etc., Bosun, Conniston in the cob. I usually smoke rum flake out of whatever is lying around.- musicman

Yes, I have one Briar and one Cobb I smoke Lakelands out of. The briar is for Ennerdale and blends with that sort of sauce, the briar is for stronger blends such as rum flake. What Do You Smoke Out of Your Biggest Bowl?
This right here. The Castello “G” and the MM General are for when I have the time and situation to slowly enjoy a 90-100 minute smoke. Generally then, it’ll be one of my favorite Va/VaPer/VaOr blends such as Fillmore or Bijou. Broken flake burns great in a big bowl.- musicman
