It’s kind of a chubby pot variation on shape 55 without the Hapsburg chin. It’s labeled as a KKKK. I find the Castello ratings way too confusing. I could happily smoke only unfinished Savinelli seconds that I get new on eBay from Italy approximately $50. They have these benefits: 1. I LOVE the way the unfinished briar naturally gets a patina; 2. Some say unfinished briar smokes cooler; 3. I’m not a huge fan of Savinelli finishes anyway... -

I got one and it’s fine. Their rustication is very nice: deep and craggy but smooth. For some reason I’m not crazy about their pipe aesthetics. Very plain and not as well proportioned as Castello. No real complaints except that the one I have has such a short and thin shank, and a very thin... -
Pipe Cleaners Without Protruding Metal Ends?
I’m finding wire snippet technique is very effective. I doubt a couple scratches inside stem will ever cause serious damage. OCD notwithstanding !- LudwigB88
