Awesome! I didn't realize that the Ted's in Omaha had a lounge as well.

Who Are The Real Tobacco Snobs?

All this aggression in this thread. It will not stand man. It will not stand.

Beau York from Country Squire Radio on Show of 14, 2023

Honestly, that is why my devotion to listening to CSR waned in the last couple of years. I am more interested in hearing about pipes and tobaccos and less about pirates, pokemon and Beau's projects that he is trying to start.

Is there a Ralph's around here?

Okay folks, it looks like our indoor smoking options are going to be for now: Nickelby's Smoke Rings or Omaha Cigar Company in Omaha Cigarz Lounge or Cliff's Smoke Shop in Lincoln Paul's Cigar Lounge in either Hastings or Norfolk My Shop in Aurora The shops will of course either need a small...

    Nebraska Pipe Clubs

Let me do some checking around and see what pipe friendly places there are. Perhaps we could have a roaming pipe meet up at different spots around the state.

To Ream Or Not To Ream...

On estate pipes, which have been well loved, I will ream them with either a decatur reamer or the senior reamer, then follow it with an appropriately sized dowel and sandpaper, 180 as the coursest, 320 most of the time. On my daily workhorses, I tend to use the reamer on my pipe tool to gently...

    Nebraska Pipe Clubs

Okay fellow bugeaters, I'm tired of smoking setting and smoking my pipe by myself, the conversations and following arguments are getting tiring. Let's pick a date and a time to get together and swap lies with each other. I'd be happy to host at my shop, if you don't mind not having all the...

    Ageing Luxury Bull's Eye Flake

LBF is one of my daily smokes. Fresh LBF is a little rough on the palate. 1 year old LBF is smoother, but not as complex. 2 year old LBF is smoother, sweeter and just starts to develop a deeper complexity to the smoke. 3 years brings LBF to what I think is the beginning of it's peak. Smooth...

    Squadron Leader Vs Skiff Mixture

I just popped the seal on a tin of Squadron Leader that I acquired in August of 2019 (I date that tins when I get them). It has aged wonderfully. The virginias are sweeter and the latakia has mellowed to a point where, although it isn't in the background, it compliments the Virginias in the...

    Another Type Of Delayed Gratification

Glad to hear you are feeling better! Even with the cold and nasty weather, the first bowl after being ill is always the best!

    Two Cascadia blends.

What is with any of the P&C blends anymore? It seems like they have become the gurkha of pipe tobacco, all marketing and no substance. Even the cigars that p&c's parent company, Cigars International, have been putting out are not much of an upgrade over gas station cigars. I've tried the Buffalo...

Which Star Trek Character Would Prefer To Marry?

Yeah, I told him that he should keep them nice, they are worth a couple hundred bucks right now. They are from 1990. He is 14, and actually pretty responsible for 14. Unlike myself, who at 14 am pretty sure I put a Kobe Bryant Chrome Series Rookie card in the spokes of my bike....

Which Star Trek Character Would Prefer To Marry?

Being that I was an adolescent during the STNG years, it would have to be of course, Deanna Troi. Oddly enough, my mom sent a big box of trading cards she found cleaning out some storage bins. It was full of Marvel, Star Trek and STNG cards. I remember I had full sets of all of them. My...

    Denicool Filter Crystals

Latakia is both a type of tobacco and a process. Latakia is a turkish tobacco, but is also fire cured. Nightcap and EMP should be safer bets for you from the burley standpoint, but you'll need to develop a good cadence to not burn your tongue with them as well.
