I can't access the google sheets. But the google docs link is the one that I was thinking of. Thanks!

    Tin Date Code? Solani

I thought I found a place where his program can be downloaded. But I forget now. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

    Apertif

I smoked my first bowl of nightcap (2013) tonight, and I have to say I prefer the aperitif (2107) right now. The aperitif has this nice buttery nut taste to me. It doesn't taste like chestnut, but chestnuts have that buttery, fatty, nut taste, so that's what I associate it with. Going to...

    Apertif

I'll take a look, though, in canada, the selection is limited. I have a bit of aperitif though.

    Apertif

For those who have tried both aperatif and nightcap, how similar are they? I have been wanting to open a tin of nightcap, but I would rather wait until I finish my aperatif if they are similar flavour profiles. I have read on some reviews of aperatif that it is similar to nightcap. But it...

New (to me) Philip Trypis Pipe

I just picked up two because of the good comments on the forum here. I have smoked one bowl from the pear shape that I purchased. I really like the feel of it. I hope the other smokes as nicely. It's a bent dublin sort of thing.

Thanks everyone for the helpful comments.

    Naive Question about Drying Tobacco

Very helpful and detailed! Thank you! I know that there are some variation due to personal preference with almost every aspect of pipe smoking. One reason why I would like less relights, right now, is that it is cold as hell when I am smoking and the interruption reminds me that I am out in...

    Naive Question about Drying Tobacco

Being new to pipe smoking, I am wondering if people can help me understand the importance of drying tobacco to the right degree. I know that the right degree is a partly subjective matter, but if the tobacco is too moist, it will be difficult to light/keep lit. But there is the range where it...

    New Rossi Oom Paul

Ya, it definitely doesn't fit like a filter would.

    New Rossi Oom Paul

I wonder if anyone here can answer a question about my Rossi pipe. When it arrived, it came with a little black nib that fits in the pipe, not securely but flush. It doesn't fit with the stem at all, so I can't figure out what it is. It is like a thick black straw that is 1.5-2" long. Does...

    Apertif

I tried this tonight. I thought it was delicious. I am very happy with my purchase now.

    Sutliff and Brigham Tobaccos

One reason why I'd like to know the name translations of the Sutliff blends is to know if any of their match blends have made it to Canada. The Legends series appears to be Dunhill matches. But Sutliff makes a lot of other matches and Canada doesn't get many of those original blends.

    New Rossi Oom Paul

I just got a Rossi Piccolo, the cutty. I really like the weight and size, but I find the draw hole to be rather large. When I inhale, I occasionally draw in some tobacco. I find that annoying . Do others find this with the Rossi pipes as well? Maybe it is just my pipe. Maybe I need to pack...

    Brigham Role-Call

I am new to pipe smoking and a brigham is my first pipe. It's an algonquin bent billiard (not sure of the number). I don't have much else to compare it to, so I can't give a verdict on how much I like it. What are people's verdicts on the filters? I have been smoking without one lately and I...

How to Prepare Flake Pipe Tobacco

I have done a few bowls cube cutting the flake and drying for 3-3.5 hours. That has worked pretty well for this tobacco, though I feel like 3 hours is too long. Some minimal dust does get created when I pack the pipe. I am not sure if that is normal or whether I am letting it dry out too much.

Ya, I made a mistake about the legend series.
