Help dating and analyzing this 4103 Dunhill bamboo

http://www.pipephil.eu/logos/en/dunhill/shell-briar1.html Check out the 2000 entry on this chart. 4103 means size group 4, but the rest of the code doesn't jive, as the maker of this chart attests to. Can't help much on the date without those numbers. Strange..... Maybe around 2000 with...

Need a Smoke the Wife will Enjoy

Even after smoking indoors and out around my wife for 40 years, I have never found a tobacco that she 'enjoys'. I smoke mostly English and Balkans, but she has never complained. I learned years ago to talk to her, find out which tobacco's are objectionable to her and not smoke those when...

A dog who thinks he is human

Now that's funny. My dog Bell is smart too. She feels sorry for me because I get so much junk mail. That's why she tries to bite the mailman.

It might be a Kaywoodie meerschaum?

That's a nice old pipe. I'd venture a guess and say it's from the 60's.

    Medical alcohol swab

I also use Everclear... but I see nothing wrong with using medical swabs. If I was a Corpsman and had an unending supply, I'd use them.

    Tobacco Depot in New Jersey

I drove an hour and a half to Shreveport a couple years ago to visit a real, live B&M. When I finally found it there was a large painting of a Calabash on the parking lot side of the building... I thought "Jackpot!" Inside was nothing but glass bongs and rolling papers. The poor little...

    Kaywoodie

I have a Kaywoodie I bought new in '72 at the Navy Exchange. I believe I paid $4.50 American and still smoke it once in a while. Smokes as good as any pipe I have, will never give it up.
