Are you folks ready for a plastic pipe with a briar chamber inside the bowl? It's not turning me on, but it has been getting some press the past day or so.
The designer says that after two centuries without any change to briar pipes, it is time for something new.

Kind of cool looking but nothing really new except for the briar insert. That's the big difference. Yello-Bole made pipes from Brylon years ago. I have one and it's the worst pipe I own. These new ones sound interesting, though.

At first I was thinking "Alright, it might be pretty cool to have one and they should be cheap given how low-cost and efficient injection molding is". Then I scrolled down through this thread and saw the price...

Maybe I am off base here, but I really don't thing some things "need" to change. Of course if it did come with some of the accessories that lifeon2 is referring to, I'll take two!
