    A Little Politics

Savinelli - although I favor other pipes sometimes, Savinelli has been the most consistent for me. I'm a huge fan of GLP, McClelland, SG, and GH. Although I also Like some Rattray's, Dunhill, Russ blends, and C&D. ---I'm a tobacco whore

Is It Wrong to Love a Pipe... More Than Your Wife??

I haven't had one of those in quite a while. I love all my pipes more than my x-wife though!

    G&H Bob's Chocolate Flake

I hope that one is not going away. I really dig BCF!

    20 Lbs, That's the Limit

I left out may McClellands and C&D tobaccos. I would shed a few tears for thos, but a 20 lb. limit really makes one prioritize

    I'm Back & Great Find

Hi Everyone. Long absence, but life, the universe, & everything has kept me away from this fun for a bit. I will mail the samples I've promised soon. Earlier today, while packing to move, I found a pipe I thought had been lost forever. About 6 years ago, I gave away quite a few pipes, and...

    Nicotine Addiction?

As a former - and still occasional- cigarette smoker, I have to agree. Although.... I love nicotine. Sweet, sweet nicotine.

    The Psychology Of Cellaring

I completely agree, but think it's a sad reality rather than a philosophy to be embraced. At least that's what I teach my two young boys while trying to get them to be kind, caring, compassionate men.

    The Psychology Of Cellaring

I agree and dis-agree with you, Jay. While I personally don't cellar a large amount, I can certainly understand the idea of stocking up on one's favorite blend(s). I've stocked up on a couple, within my financial comfort zone, of a couple of my favorites, but I don't buy more than a few tins...

Tobaccos I'd Rather Not Live Without

I just enjoyed my last bowl of DC that a generous forum member ;-) sent me a while ago. That is a good one, just not readily available for me. *EDIT* mis-spelled "just"

    The Psychology Of Cellaring

You are right Cosmic. That was one of my motivations for giving out samples of Stonehaven a while back. I enjoy the tobacco, but do not like the "Unicorn" aspect of it. Everyone has their own sense of right and wrong, but the $150 for 8 oz of Stonehaven has always seemed like an asshole move...

Have I been unfair to aros?

Aros are good for me. That being said, I don't care for the heavily cased ones with no real tobacco flavor, except as blenders with Brown Bogie or a strong tobacco. I often enjoy a good tobacco with an aromatic component.

Tobaccos I'd Rather Not Live Without

We all have favorites, and those select few (many) we love to smoke regularly. What are yours? I have quite a few: McClelland Orient 996 Virginia #27 Tudor Castle Blackwoods Flake Dark Star C&D Opening Night Bow Legged Bear GL Pease Westminster Gaslight Haddo's Delight Sextant Sam...

    This Ageing Malarky....

I also "accidentally" age. I don't have the size of cellar we see from some members, but I'll be really into a baccy for a while and buy a couple extra tins, then move onto something else, :squirrel:, and then sometimes a year or four later open the tin I'd forgotten about. I've never had a...

    2016-2017 Box Pass Thread

I can't wait to be overwhelmed by this load of goodness. I'm really looking forward to a week or so of overload. "If a little bit's good, more is better." Right?

    Beverage of Choice

Black coffee. During the hottest summer days, black coffee in the morning with lightly sweetened iced tea throughout the day.

    Favorite Summer Time Aromatics

I often mix an aro with a VA or VAPer for a "Summer aromatic." My favorite is McClellands Pastry mixed with any VAPer. It's a light aro to start, and mixed, it just gives the good aroma and a little flavor to any blend.
