Hello, My Name is Banjo and I Smoke a Pipe

Glad to see you back. I've looked forward too and enjoyed your posts for a long time, even back when I was a lurker.

    Favorite Type/Brand of Knife

I'm also a knife collector and was wondering who else out there collects knives. I generally prefer traditional pocket/folding knives and have, for years, been collecting knives made by Great Eastern Cutlery. I also have some older Schrade and Case knives and some newer Spyderco knives. What...

    BANISHED!

metalheadcigarguy, that is an amazing setup! When I was married, I only smoked outside and in the garage. Now, when my kids are home, I still only smoke outside, but when they're at school or their grandparents house I smoke inside. I like both as the experience is different. Make the most...

    Aging Tobacco

In my experience, age always helps harshness to some degree. There are a few tobaccos that I prefer fresh though. Black Mallory and GLP Westminster are a couple I prefer fresh, but most are a little better for me with at least 8 months age if not a couple years.

    Peterson's University Flake

One of my staples. I smoke UF at least once a week. I've been smoking this blend for over 10 years and have noticed some small differences, but it is essentially the same and scratches the same itch

    Watch Out or Watch On?

Nice watches guys! I've always worn a watch as long as I can remember. Currently, I wear an inexpensive Timex as my everyday work/beater watch (keeps great time and does "Take a licking, and keeps on ticking"), a Citizen for nicer occasions, and carry my grandfather's old "railroad" pocket...

    Dark Star

I feel exactly the same way. I don't find Darkstar as difficult as some, but it's either a blah smoke or amazing. There isn't a middle ground with this one for me

    "Did You Ever Kill Anybody?"

Wow tslex , that is messed up. I've been threatened over a stupid misunderstanding myself (elsewhere on the interwebs). Never really understood it
