    Robert McConnell's Scottish cake

I am usually very suspicious with any tobacco being made in Denmark, whether English or not, but this might be the exception that proves the rule. The tin note is sort of vinegary with an undertone of hay, which is something that reminds me of many Gawith Hoggarth blends. I have let my tobacco...

    Dottle as Absorbent Filter?

This is any tobacco. Sometimes, the moist content might be quite high, but I always let the tin open to have a breather before I pack my pipe with it. This is not to say I let my tobacco dry out completely, but I think this helps.

    USPS sucks

I have ordered a parcel from 4Noggins last week (this is on Monday), I live in England, and my parcel hasn't arrived yet.

    Dottle as Absorbent Filter?

I don't produce any dottle. When I finish my pipe, it is all white ass.

I wish I could have this or something similar.

Johnnyreb. Much better if you post like this next time: Meerschaum Search Old Meer

I wish I could have this or something similar.

Impressive, I agree, but I'd be much too worried to smoke in such a beautiful thing.

    Strambach's Cultured Meerschaum

Can you post a pick stvalentine?

    Strambach's Cultured Meerschaum

I had this pipe coming in the post today. This is what they called "Cultured Meerschaum," that is, this is neither "block" nor "pressed" meerschaum. Don't ask me how they managed to do it (this is a trade secret), but, basically, they just cultivate/grow sepiolite out of its chemical...

I'll be buggered if it wasn't

    Orlik - Golden Sliced

I agree with deathmetal in that it's got to have something in it.

Dagner Pipes What do youz think?

This is what they may look like (there is nothing special about them), but they seem to smoke really well to be perfectly honest with you.

    Marlin Flake

Of course it does. Sorry if I am not passionate about it, but this is my first experience ever with cavendish + perique and I usually need a few bowls of any tobacco to make up my mind about it. The point I am trying to make is "this seems to be really good, but I do not know much about it."

Dagner Pipes What do youz think?

This is one of their pipes. It smokes really well, but there is nothing special about it. I used to watch their videos, but they put me off in the end by saying the most stupid things under the sun.

    Marlin Flake

There is nothing special about the tin note; it just smells like vinegar. This is coil tobacco, which is a nice feature that pleases me. The flakes seem to be easy to crumble and pack in your pipe. The moist content is ridiculously high, so be advised. I cannot detect any toppings, and the...

    Falcon Pipes

I never hated Falcon pipes that much (lol), but I think most people in this thread can see where you are coming from. Now what? If you overcame your feelings, they might just surprise you. Some girls might not be very pretty, but they have good hearts, and I think it would be unfair to reject...

    Orlik Golden Sliced

But this is like Andy says: there is no consensus.

    Orlik Golden Sliced

Thanks for your comment. I have already read that thread. As I see it: 1. An English Blend is a mixture, that is, any tobacco that only contains tobacco (no toppings or added flavours according to purity laws). 2. A Danish Blend is an aromatic. 3. An American Blend is a blend with virginia...

    Falcon Pipes

The one I've got so far hasn't got any, and I have inspected it thoroughly. I might have been lucky though. :)

    Orlik Golden Sliced

Without labels nobody would know what to expect when buying a blend or a mixture for the first time. Some people hate aromatics, others Balkan tobacco, or VaPers, etc., so if no labels were attached, many of us would end up with the wrong tobacco in our hands.
