My cheap space saving pipe rack...

Needed a rack, but being on a budget I just cant go and buy a nice one so I have some plans in my head. Until I go ahead and start building one I needed something in the mean time. Stop by my local craft store and was checking out their ready made stuff and seen this six sided pencil holder...

    Compulsive buy....

Thanks all! The knife is made by Schrade, it's a doctors knife I've modified. Can't remember what site I got it from. Just search for schrade doctors knife and it will pop up. Goes for around $10.

I stopped in my local shop for some pipe cleaners and seen this little thing and had to have it. Only has czech on the side and the guy there had no clue, but I liked it. Smokes well.

Newly Modded Pipe Tool and Estate Pipe...

Haven't thought of selling them. I guess I could do a few for whomever wants one. I would just do it for the cost of the knife and shipping or you can get the knife yourself and send it to me.

Newly Modded Pipe Tool and Estate Pipe...

Hope this photo hosting works. I'm a knife collector and a lot of my user knives I've modified to suit my needs and well.... I wanted a pipe tool to reflect my love of knives so I picked up this little doctors knife and went at it with my dremel. First I grinded down the spatula into a pick...

So far... a good day! (Repaired a Crack in Shank)

Well after going the night at work without a smoke due to my stupidity I came home this morning to figure out a fix for my pipe. I checked it over and did find a thin crack at the end of the shank. What to do? Whatever it couldn't make it worse and being it's a drug store pipe I pulled out...

    Fitting?

Yea back for another question for the bunch. I've noticed over the last two days the fitting between the stem and shank/bowl (still learning the terminology) is loosening up. Now I'm noticing a little wiggle. Is this expected due to wear? Seems a little quick for just picking up this hobby...

    Too wet?

So in my short time at pipe smoking I've acquired three different tobaccos to try. First was a cheap cherry that I picked up with the pipe at the drug store. Next was a vanilla my daughter bought for me cuz she's cool like that and last was a blend called Fox & Hound (kind unknown and I...

    Hello all!

Thanks guys! I'm sure I'll be pestering you all very soon. @flyfishn: Just a few miles south of Pittsburgh and the only fishing I do when I can get to it is tossing a line out into the water, sitting back and falling asleep. Tried fly fishing once. I liked it. I'm more of a shooter type...
