Been checking the site out for a few weeks now and thought I would stop by and say hi. My name is Scotty and I live in SWest PA. Just picked up the pipe a few weeks ago. Long time cig smoker and had enuf of them, but still wanted the enjoyment of smoke. Right now I just have a Dr Grabow with another one on the way. Been looking at some finer pieces and hopefully I can score a few in the next few months. With that being said I probably won't have much to contribute for awhile, but do look forward in getting some good advise. Cheers!

Just keep your tobacco dry, smoke it slow and don't sweat a couple of relights. It's all good!

Thanks guys! I'm sure I'll be pestering you all very soon. @flyfishn: Just a few miles south of Pittsburgh and the only fishing I do when I can get to it is tossing a line out into the water, sitting back and falling asleep. Tried fly fishing once. I liked it. I'm more of a shooter type person tho.
