On Nostalgia And Misconceptions
My father smoked a pipe on and off his entire adult life. He always bought Half and Half or Pr. Albert at the base exchange. I can remember about 4 pipes. Seems like Grabow's and other inexpensive pipes, again available at the exchange.- boatme99

just started re-watching Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, 1979. Very good adaptation. British tv back in the day had great productions. Unlike American television, They're willing to spend the time to tell a full story, with real acting, not just some quick gratuitous violence and sex thrown in...- boatme99

One of the few things I'm looking forward to in my upcoming move, a larger radio market with jazz and classical available. At least there used to be. :) Where I currently live there's nothing on the airwaves that makes owning a radio worthwhile.- boatme99
