    Well Well Well MOLD!

Sadly I have already binned mine, on the instruction of SP.com If the same thing happens again then I will take a picture and post it.

    Well Well Well MOLD!

FYI, the two tins of GLP Temple Bar that I opened recently were both showing spots of mold. SP.com are sending me another two but I don't know whether to just keep them and cross my fingers or open them as well. Ideally I wanted to age this blend in the tin, but that may not be a good idea.

20% off Dunhill Tins at SPC

That's exactly what I was thinking about getting Nate, in some combination. I smoke a lot of va and vaper but have never gotten around to trying DNR and Flake.

20% off Dunhill Tins at SPC

I do think the 10 packs are a great deal but, while I love Nightcap, I don't care much for EMP. I'm tempted to use the 20% offer to try out some blends I've never tried. I hear a lot of things about Royal Yacht, some good some bad! What are people's favorite and least favorite Dunhill blends?

Ok, I Get It (Black Frigate

This is a blend I'm interested in trying. How does it compare to something like GLP Gaslight?

Eva Green Smoking A Pipe In The New Tim Burton Film

@mackeson I'm very much with you on Winnona Ryder, I too watched those films at an impressionable age. She still looks great in Stranger Things. I think it's her voice as much as her looks. I've not really enjoyed anything that Mr Burton has done recently, I found the overuse of Johnny Depp...

    VA & Va/PER suggestions

The Va/per that I adore, but never see mentioned, is McClellend Beacon Extra.

    A Lighter That Isn't Useless?

You could say the same about pipes. 'Anything more than a corn cob is pure vanity'. I've recently bought the z-pipe soft flame insert and it seems to be holding out ok after a couple of weeks. If it breaks I'll just go back to the standard zippo pipe insert. I actually don't mind the slight...

Anyone else feel wierd about smoking an estate pipe?

Precisely Piffyr, putting a restaurant fork in your mouth is exactly the same thing. Looking at it from the other side. I quite like the idea that the pipes I enjoy now may be enjoyed by many other people, well into the future (for as long as they can source tobacco that is!).

    FVF Group Tasting Sample Reviews

Hang on a minute, sorry to go off on a tangent, but I once threw out 2oz of Germains Rich Dark Flake because it had white markings with 'lines' similar to the flake on the left. I was told it was mold :(

    Rattray's P&TAD

I had my eye on that very pipe! Thank you for saving me from yet another order :) Hope she smokes well for you. I love Marlin Flake.

    GL Pease Temple Bar

I remember reading this thread last night and I remember having a few glasses of of wine. However I have no recollection of the the order I placed late last night for a few tins of Temple Bar, a tin of Dark Star and an estate pipe from SP.com. The dangers of PAD, TAD, forums and drink!

    R.I.P. Motzek Strang

I've got my finger over the order button. Even though it's the mixture version, I'd still like to try this stuff before it goes. Thing is, with the original blender retired, will this really be the same tobacco as before?

What Is The Best Place You Have Ever Smoked "Royal Yacht"?

I'm gonna have to find a sample of this tobacco, it seems to divide opinion more than any other right now!

Don't Save Back the Nice Pipes

Being 100% scottish, I can feel your pain! I have managed to acquire a couple of nice pipes now but spend most of my time smoking cobs. I think it's partly because I'm scared that my technique still isn't great.

    Blood Red Moon

How does it compare to Hobbit's Weed and/or Top Black Cherry. They are the two best cherry blends I've tried so far, not that I smoke aros very often.

You Tube- What an Amazing Thing!!

Standing up for the right to get paid for your work/art? Yes, I can absolutely see how that is an outdated notion. How silly of me! I've somehow managed to become an old fart at 34, my wife will be disappointed.

You Tube- What an Amazing Thing!!

I presume from the first line that you think my opinion is misguided? Maybe 'too avaliable' was a poor choice of words and I should have clarified that I was primarily speaking about copyrighted music and video. People communicating via videos they've made is obviously not a problem. The problem...

You Tube- What an Amazing Thing!!

I'm torn, I use it all the time but ultimately I hate it. I think that music is too available these days and it has devalued immensely to the point where a lot of people just aren't used to paying for it anymore. I miss the restriction of listening only to the albums I could afford to buy...

    Death Metal

I was never a fan of straight death metal, I found it far too repetitive. I do like a bit of black metal though, or even blackened death on occasion. There are a lot of tech-death bands on the go at the moment but it's a very hit and miss sub genre. I loved the last Fallujah album though; great...
