They may smoke more pipe tobacco in Asia, but any Germains product that comes to the US is immediately sold out. So its probably a pricing issue rather than a demand issue.- pauls456

It's interesting that a big batch goes to Singapore, while there is none to be found in the US. Could this possibly be related to different wholesale and retail prices in the US and in Singapore? In other words, if there is more money to be made in Singapore...- pauls456

Stockpiling
Stockpiling gives us the mental comfort of thinking that at least this one thing is under our control in our lives. But underneath this lies that fact that most of the stockpilers will not enjoy a smoking career long enough to avoid having much of that tobacco eventually go to the estate market.- pauls456

Cigar Shops and Pipe Smokers
In Tucson AZ, the local cigar lounge owners have been welcoming to have me as a visiting pipe smoker. As a general rule I put a ten dollar bill in their tip jar, because I don't want to spoil things for myself or other pipe smokers.- pauls456

Anyone Have Extensive Experience with Dermatologists?
Their practice styles vary widely. Some will biopsy every spot, others are more conservative. Some make extensive use of physician's assistants- I would be wary of those. It can be difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff.- pauls456

Artisan Spigots?
