Need Suggestions for my First Briar & Bulk Aeros

I personally would go with the Savinelli over the Brigham. I had a Brigham once which I promptly traded in as I found their filter system restricted the draw too much. Here's my recommended bulk tobacco's. Both the McCelland and PS blends are very good virginia's with a very light flavoring...

Who's Going To The Newark ('NY') Pipe Show?

I hate going to NJ. I may have to break my personal rule of avoiding NJ at all costs to make the show. The only thing worse than going to NJ is going to Long Island.

Another Sav 320 Joins the Family

Nice pipe. I've got a couple author shaped pipes and they are some of my favorites. I like the idea of the 321 which is a smaller 320 the only problem is they tend to be too shallow.

How Many Tobaccos Do You Have Open and Smoking at Once?

Uhhh I've got maybe 70+ jars with stuff in them that I pick and choose from. I'm hoping to work my way through those and get them down to 20 before I open my cellared tins. Heck I've got a box sitting next to me with over 20 unopened tins of new to me blends that I'd like to get around to...

    Resealing Used Tins

Nah don't take it the wrong way. There are shady people on the net and I trust almost nobody. Anyway very nice pipe cabinet. I hope the wax works for you. I'd be concerned about the tobacco drying out in the jars with the cork stoppers. I hope you smoke those first.

    Resealing Used Tins

It just seems like it will be much more work than slapping it in jars. I wish the OP best of luck and I hope he's not looking to reseal tins for resale. Not saying that he is. Just saying I hope he isn't. I noticed a post with the same question on reddit's pipe smoking sub.

    Cob Lovers

Thanks Ray I'll check it out. Yeah I've been smoking that dark stoved which is a dry stoved virginia so I was kind of surprised I was getting a little gurgling on both pipes.

    Cob Lovers

@ray47. I gotcha. Anyone else getting wetness/gurgling? I rarely have that problem with a cob but both of these are wet smokers.

    Resealing Used Tins

I've got no clue why you would want to insist on resealing tins when mason jars are readily available. Good luck.

    Preparing SG Flakes

I think some manufacturers sell their product that moist so they have to put less tobacco in the tin = more profit. If you ever open any Hearth & Home tins you will see that Russ sells his products ready to smoke right out of the tin. It is incredibly dryer than any SG product.

Perdurabo I'm breaking mine in with some Butera Dark Stoved. mmmmm sweet and delicious. Ray I prefer this style bowl as they are usually for me more durable than the natural bowls. Those natural bowls tend to flake on me.
