Storage Questions
Re-seal? Just close the lid and make sure the rim and lid are clean. I've got stuff jarred up for a long time and they never dry out. Also use the smaller jars like half pints. The big quart ones I find the tobacco gets dried out quicker.- fitzy

Wall Thickness - Do Some Makers Create Pipes with Thicker Walls as a Rule?
Yeah my only problem is clenching thicker walled pipes. Generally dublins aren't as much of a problem weight wise because of the tapered bowl. I generally don't buy a pipe that weighs more than 45 grams and my minimum wall thickness is usually .25. -
