    The Mallard is quite good....I can't think of what to compare to at this second. It's a nice, rich Virginia that is is slightly on the dark side. It's extremely smooth too.

    My first pipe was a meerschaum lined La Rocca bent billiard I acquired from purchasing an abandoned storage unit that belonged to a relative of my girlfriend. I still smoke it occasionally when I get a hankering for English/Balkan blends.

    I would say OJK has more Virginia flavor and just a tad more Perique compared to HB. Night Train definitely has more of a Virginia taste compared to both and it has more of a bright Virginia taste compared to the other two. It seems like there is more Perique in Night Train compared with OJK...
