Difference Between Haunted Bookshop, OJK and Night Train?

Hello!

I have only tried HB but I hear that OJK focuses more on the perique rather than the burley, but I have also heard similar things about Night Train. So what is the big difference in flavor profile?

I would say OJK has more Virginia flavor and just a tad more Perique compared to HB. Night Train definitely has more of a Virginia taste compared to both and it has more of a bright Virginia taste compared to the other two. It seems like there is more Perique in Night Train compared with OJK in my opinion. OJK would be my least favorite of the 3. It's a tie between HB and Night Train. HB has this mustiness I really like, while Night Train has a bright Virginia taste mixed with a good amount of pepper spice.

I agree with Es0teric. HB has a distinct funk or mustiness to it, so it is well-named. To me, OJK has more nic and is more dry and bitter tasting (which is how my taste buds react to strong burley). I like both. NT was a miss for me. Nothing particularly wrong with it. Just a meh blend.

Thanks for explaining this to me! I think I'll stick with HB for now, the name itself and tin art is also hard to beat.

I like OJK (and the blue) but did not care for the HB, but that was before I really started liking burleys. I need top revisit HB again now that I like burleys more.
