    Favorite Borderline Aromatics?

That’s a real loss to me. There is nothing else like it that I know.

A Most Curious Blend: Gawith’s “Jamaican Flake”

This one never caught on with me. I haven’t smoked it in almost 20 years but should revisit. I have a tin from 2008 I’ll need to crack.

A Most Curious Blend: Gawith’s “Jamaican Flake”

    Shouldn’t be any different.

    Show Us Your Falcons!

I think they do. Just takes time. Most meer pipes color strongest in the shank but since there is no shank it’s different. I compared mine to a photo when new and it’s definitely got some color but if you look at it without comparing you wouldn’t be impressed.

One Pound in a Ball Jar

Thanks for the topic. Got myself in gear and jarred some tobacco I had in bulk. I had a bunch of random jars here that I bought years ago from someone that used to process honey.

Recommendation Request - Creamy, Sweet, Smooth Latakia Blends - EU Available

Dan tobacco Gordon Pym is yummy. Haven’t had it for a while. Also Bill Bailey’s Balkan. Both should be readily available in the EU and hopefully reasonable.

Recommendation Request - Creamy, Sweet, Smooth Latakia Blends - EU Available

It’s about the same locally in NY plus another 8% sales tax. Fortunately we can still make internet sales at the moment. Though we often get hit with with sales tax it’s waaaaaay cheaper.

One Pound in a Ball Jar

I’d say that’s about right from my experience.

Recommendation Request - Creamy, Sweet, Smooth Latakia Blends - EU Available

It may require some more time in the jar. I haven’t smoke much Rattray English recently but Red Raparree was a recent one for me. Fantastic. I don’t remember it to be particularly creamy but it’s another favorite. I haven’t smoke much HU but the blends I’ve tried are all fantastic. I like...

Recommendation Request - Creamy, Sweet, Smooth Latakia Blends - EU Available

I like Samuel Gawith Balkan flake and Perfection. In the Peterson line I have not smoked the recent versions but the former Dunhill My Mixture 965 was very creamy. I would also look at Rattray’s Latakia blends. Red Rapparee, 3 Noggins, Accountants, etc. many of the blends have unsweetened...

One Pound in a Ball Jar

This is a question that can go around for ages, especially in regards to aging but since you’re most likely going to be opening the jar to smoke from regularly, I wouldn’t over think it and do what’s most comfortable. You’d also be surprised how well some of the paint can lids seal..,

    GH Brown Irish X Aromatic

I’ve had the same experience with other GH blends. Still great tobacco , …oh but the sauce! Extra sauce, please.

    GH Brown Irish X Aromatic

Cool. Sounds great. Haven’t smoked twist and it’s been decades since I’ve had rope. I’ve had the darker flakes and plugs. Looking forward to this. Will choose a sensibly small pipe and have a bite to eat first, though.

    GH Brown Irish X Aromatic

Just received some of this yesterday along with Aniseseed Twist. I was told that the topping on both was strong and present but I was overwhelmed with the smoky aroma. I jarred them up and eventually was able to smell the aniseed twist topping in the jar but the Brown Irish X is still...
