Here’s my other 2. A straight made in the USA with a vulcanite stem and a modern bent made in England.

Review of SG Cannon Plug - A Lakeland Legend

The good news is there are lots of great Lakeland blends available in bulk to get your feet wet. There’s also blends like St Bruno which share the character to some extent. Ennerdale might be one of the classics to try in a cob. Great stuff but I like them all. More subtle would be brown flake...

Yeah, I haven’t seen it available loose.

Really great stuff. I waited a long time to be able to get my hands on some. Glad I finally did. Nice review. Thanks for sharing.

No. If you tap it it will either activate or deactivate the integrated features which you would otherwise have to use code for. Bold is active: Grey is inactive:

Missed out on all the good clearance stuff at TP and CoJ. But picked this one up on sale this weekend at MBSD:

Whoa! That’s it! Tried that on my other forum and it worked! Amazing! On that forum I had to click the greyed out three dot button then the greyed out brackets appears. Click the brackets and all comes solid and alive! Thanks!

Glad that worked out. For me it’s the opposite. Safari works fine on this forum but not on a different one. Go figure.

Down a different browser like Chrome or Firefox. See if that works. If so, there’s something in safari that’s not gelling.

One Pound in a Ball Jar

There is both aerobic and anaerobic activity going on. Both contribute to aging in different ways. It tight packed vacuum sealed round tin of a ribbon cut blend has very little air and ages one way. Loose canisters have like C&D or Rattray 100g tins have a lot more air. In both cases aging...

It’s both. That’s why the debate of aging still rages.

Explaining My Absence, The Death of My Wife

Please accept my deepest condolences. I’m glad you’re able to be here and find some small comfort in having a pipe and being in our virtual fellowship. Glad you are here. Be welcome and at ease.

Try a different browser like chrome. I have that problem with my iPhone on a different forum and have to use Chrome to post pics. Safari works on this forum though.

    Less is More

I kind of feel the same way. I reduced my pipe collection somewhat, but still find an excuse to add the occasional pipe. Tobacco - I have more than I will likely ever need but there’s more that I would like to try, especially from the smaller blenders. I have a bunch of stuff I plan on parting...

A Most Curious Blend: Gawith’s “Jamaican Flake”

At some point I remember reading that Peterson Hyde Park was the same in rubber format but I am not sure if that is the case.

    Favorite Borderline Aromatics?

There are so many great blends like this. On the Latakia side I would add Samuel Gawith Perfection, Wilke Lizzie Blood Red English (English blend with - light blood orange topping) and Watch City Persian Slipper. Definitely worth exploring Boswell, Country Squire, Wilke and Ken Byron blends...
