    The new fluid has much less taste to it. In my army days we used to cut Naptha 50/50 with rubbing alcohol to remove some of the taste.

    I picked up this old Savinelli "Kings Cross" estate yesterday from my B+M. It's a small group 1 I'm guessing and tipping the scales at 25gm. Perfect I think for smoking plugs and ropes.

    For daily carry I will throw a few flakes or a few bowls of loose cut into a GoTubb container. For a couple days I'll load up a couple choices into a few 125ml jars. Two of those jars fit perfectly into a beer can coozie for safe padded storage.

    Personally if the stem is straight I'd leave it glued. You can always shim the screw tenon to re-align the mouthpiece to true.
