Apparently I Am Not Manly Enough For Black Irish X!

It is definitely an acquired taste. I love Brown Bogie but need to be in the right mood for the black irish x.

    My latest meerschaum PAD

More of a fan of the traditionals but I have to admit that those pipes are eye catching. Nice score.

    Full Strength Non-Aromatic Recommendations

1792 Flake, brown bogie, Irish flake, 5 brothers, three nuns will all give you a buzz. Also adding some cube cut burley to a blend will add some zing. I enjoy a strong tobacco and ropes are known among the strongest.

    Happy Thanksgiving!!!

A hearty and happy Thanksgiving weekend to my fellow Canadians and a Happy Thanksgiving to our fellow pipers to the south, and around the world for that matter, as well..... even though the Yanks celebtrate it on the wrong day. Cheer and God bless.

    Getting Roped In

I'm a big fan of brown bogey and tried the black Irish but haven't pulled the trigger on flavoured ropes yet. Guess I should!

    Clay Pipe Patina

Just pulled the trigger on two of DawnMist's clay cutty pipes. I have a few of the glazed Zeinth clay pipes that I enjoy quite often.

Recommendation For Layton Pipes For Your Next Commission

I've been admiring Clark's work on facebook for a while and if I ever get back into briar pipes I'm looking him and Zack up for a couple of commissions.

    Mini?

Here are just a few of my "mini" pipes. In all honesty they see a lot more use then my big ones do. I included a regular size BIC lighter for size reference.

    Mini?

I've heard this suggestion for years, my problem is I might feel like Virginia at lunch and VaPer or english after work. Some also suggest filling a bowl half full for a shorter smoke and I always ended up filling it more then intended. For me a smaller pipe is the way to go as I can always fill...

    Mini?

I had a minuto and while a decent pipe you can get two or three yellobole pugs for the same price and they smoke just as good. Plus the minuto had a weird little filter system where you slid cigarette filters into the stem.

How Did Pipe Shapes Get Their Names.

Cutty pipes were popular with sailors and one on the sailing ships was called a cutter. :?:

    Mini?

Meers are tougher then most give them credit for but if you want a small pipe then look at Ropp pipes, Savinelli Petites, Peterson builge or calabash. I have a few tiny meers and a couple peterson calabashs that are great for a 10-20 min smoke.

Matching Your Pipe With Your Clothes.

My only suit is a black three piece and it works as most of my rotation are meers so the black and white works. If I was to match my everyday clothes to my pipes I'd be wearing a lot of tweed. lol
